International Participation

The life sciences field is global in nature and scope?and innovation is born when ideas and technology are cross fertilized across geographies and markets. Mid-Atlantic Bio provides the fertile environment for education, productive discussion, and the formation of business partnerships to occur.

Each year, Mid-Atlantic Bio has enjoyed growing participation by organizations outside the United States, giving the event not only added dimension and flavor but added opportunity for companies to make business connections across seas and borders. At 2008 Mid-Atlantic Bio, representatives of 10 countries were in attendance with potentially more this year.

International Pavilion

This year, Mid-Atlantic Bio once again featured an International Pavilion in which delegations exhibited, met, exchanged information, shared best practices, and connected with companies in the U.S. Mid-Atlantic region.

International Programming

The Mid-Atlantic Bio broadened its program to include an international focus by featuring panel discussions, speakers, and workshops centered on specific topics and issues of interest to the international bioscience community, including primer sessions on how to connect with the U.S. market from a business and regulatory standpoint.
