Presenting Companies
Each year at Mid-Atlantic Bio, a limited number of life science companies are invited to present before an audience of capital sources, including venture capitalists, angel investors, and various other qualified financing sources, along with life sciences industry attendees.
“This year, we are excited to offer once again company presenters, which adds a broad platform that encourages investor interest, innovation review, and industry collaboration to the 2009 Mid-Atlantic Bio conference,” stated Julia Spicer, Executive Director of MAVA and Host Committee member. “This conference component will again include a more mature showcase of emerging life sciences companies along with companies in the earlier stages of development who are outstanding representatives of a growing, vibrant community of companies doing business within the Mid-Atlantic region,” she added.
Presenting companies are chosen through an industry review process with input from more than 25 investment institutions and industry professionals.
